CDI - Development Project Manager (M/F) based in Rabat (Morocco)
Based in Morocco and reporting hierarchically to the General Management of MGH Energy Morocco and functionally to the Development Department of the parent company based in France, you will be responsible for the development of Moroccan synthetic fuels production projects, from the prospecting phase through to obtaining authorisations.
Main tasks:
- Manage the preparation and submission of authorisation dossiers for projects, in order to obtain all the necessary administrative authorisations for the execution of complex projects, in conjunction with the relevant public authorities (environmental studies and safety studies, building permits, network connections, securing water access, etc.);
- To participate in understanding and mastering Moroccan and European regulations relating to renewable fuels, energy, and, more generally, the environment, with the support of the Directorate of Regulatory, Institutional and Legal Affairs of MGH Energy;
- Participate in obtaining land rights;
- Ensuring consultation with local stakeholders and public authorities;
- Prepare and negotiate commercial offers (land, CO2, offtakers...);
- To contribute to the development and monitoring of grant applications and responses to tenders, both national and international, in connection with Moroccan projects.;
- Contribute to business, institutional, and regulatory intelligence on the international market for renewable energy, hydrogen, and e-fuels.;
- Participate in working groups to promote the development of projects and the financing of sustainable fuels;
- Represent the Group in dealings with local contacts (political or administrative authorities, associations, partners, service providers, etc.).
The position offers opportunities for advancement in the medium term, as well as in other areas. projects in Morocco or other projects internationally.
Profile required:
- A Master's degree (bac+5 level), such as from a business school or a general engineering school, with 5 years of project management experience, ideally within industrial projects, renewable energy, or hydrogen sectors, with international experience.;
- Proficiency in Arabic, French and English essential for the position;
- Fluency in spoken and written expression.;
- Understanding of the challenges of renewable projects and sensitivity to energy transition issues;
- Knowledge of the Moroccan Offer for Green Hydrogen.

Practical information:

- Remuneration: fixed salary + attractive variable component
